In response to global supply chain restructuring, Campower International Precision Machinery—a specialist in roller gear cam rotary tables—has shifted its focus toward high-end overseas markets. By expanding into Singapore, Turkey, Japan, and South Korea, Campower is leveraging its competitive edge in lead times, pricing, and R&D to win over international manufacturers.
As demand surges in aerospace, semiconductors, and EVs, precision is critical. Machining tough materials like titanium and magnesium alloys leaves no room for error; any backlash-induced inaccuracy leads to costly scrap.
Campower is Taiwan’s first brand to develop a multi-lead, zero-backlash rolling contact drive. Featuring the Roller Cam Driver, the product range spans from 100mm medical-grade tables to 800mm tables for EV wheel rims. Compared to traditional worm gears, these solutions offer superior rigidity, speed, and wear resistance. After 1.5 years of rigorous testing by major South Korean firms, Campower’s accuracy now rivals top-tier Japanese competitors, ensuring consistent quality for high-volume, five-axis production.
Campower is also prioritizing sustainability—a key requirement for the European market. Their products have earned the TMBA "Energy Saving Label" through significant internal upgrades. By introducing energy-saving solenoid valves and pressure booster technology, the company slashed power consumption from 1W to 0.1W and reduced required air pressure from 5–6kg to just 3–4kg. Additionally, the miniaturized cylinder design reduced physical volume by 55%, optimizing both energy use and equipment layout efficiency. By integrating the SMC Compressed Air Management System, Campower enables real-time monitoring of carbon emissions and power usage, supporting the transition to smart, green manufacturing.
Looking forward, Campower is embracing AI to support its global expansion. An AI Assistant on their website will soon provide 24/7 troubleshooting, ensuring seamless, around-the-clock service for international clients across all time zones.
"Following our focus on energy saving, this year is about 'Intelligence,'" says Vice GM Chen Ze-Ming. Through collaboration with ITRI, Campower is integrating IoT sensing and AI feedback into its products. Furthermore, the company is pursuing an "Industry Alliance" strategy, combining its tilting axis expertise with partners' Direct Drive (DD) motor technology to deliver flexible, high-speed customized solutions.
