Besides the chip FEoL (frontend-of-line) foundries and BEoL (backend-of-line) OSATs (outsourcing service of assembly & testing), the emerging of “chiplet integration flows” involve some new roles, so called the MEoL (middleend-of-line); then the advanced-chiplets design start with the system BOM/architect, then DfX for suitable system PPA$ and decent supply-chain senses, including some FA data flow, to ensure the quality/supply-chain management.
