With the advantage of strong clamping and gripping power, SMG tool holder has patented designs of “chip slot” and “backlash remove screw.” Used with standard Weldon tools, when positioning chip is placed on the Weldon flat of the tool, and the tool is inserted into SMG tool holder, the positioning chip is locked in the chip slot and firmly clamps the tool. Moreover, the backlash remove screw is placed in front so as to firmly fix and clamp the tool and efficiently avoid tool slippage and pullout during machining process. With three coolant grooves on the end, SMG is capable of high coolant pressure up to 70 bar. It helps remove metal chips and prolong tool life.
